Torri Johnson, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with a deep-seated passion for fostering personal growth and happiness in others. She holds a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Interpersonal Communications, equipping her with a robust foundation to support her clients effectively. Torri identifies as a solution-focused therapist, known for her down-to-earth demeanor and relaxed vibe, which resonates well with those she aids.


From a young age, Torri was drawn to the field of mental health counseling by her innate desire to assist individuals on their path to happiness. She believes in working collaboratively with her clients, meeting them at their pace, and tailoring her approach to help them achieve their personal goals. Torri emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship, advocating for a partnership based on trust and openness as the cornerstone of successful therapy. Her commitment to building strong, empathetic connections with clients allows for a therapeutic environment where meaningful change can occur.


Torri's practice is primarily grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), reflecting her commitment to evidence-based strategies that empower clients to navigate life's challenges with resilience and self-awareness. She takes great joy in witnessing the healing, change, and growth in her clients, considering it an honor to be a part of their journey towards self-care and the creation of their own happiness.


Torri's mission extends beyond individual counseling sessions. She aims to support men and women on their journey to happiness while tackling the mental health stigma, especially within Black and communities of color. Additionally, Torri is a sought-after motivational speaker, social justice advocate, and domestic violence advocate, demonstrating her commitment to making a significant impact on both individual lives and society at large.


Beyond her professional life, Torri has recently cultivated a love for mindfulness meditation, theater, and jazz music, finding these interests to be a source of personal fulfillment and relaxation. Weekends are a special time for Torri, as she cherishes creating memories with her son, Morry, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
