Dr. McFadden grew up in South Carolina and completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, solidifying his foundation in the field of psychiatry. He is also recognized as an esteemed member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, signifying his exceptional competence and dedication to his profession. Additionally, Dr. McFadden's professional journey led him to become an Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts member and an Analyst for the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis, further expanding his knowledge and skills in the field of psychoanalysis.

He has contributed his expertise and leadership in prominent academic institutions such as Emory University, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Mississippi. Notably, he retired as the Chief of Mental Health Services at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing mental health care for veterans.

Driven by a desire to forge meaningful connections both personally and professionally, Dr. McFadden finds fulfillment in fostering strong therapeutic relationships with his clients. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. McFadden finds joy in various interests. He cherishes the companionship of his two German Shepherds and enjoys nurturing his garden, finding solace in the beauty of nature.
