-Competencies offered are not limited to, but include excellent interpersonal skills, compassion, and intuitiveness. Proficient in the provision of diagnostic, preventative, and therapeutic mental health services to clients and family members. In addition, she is a caring, compassionate, and empathetic individual. 3. What Makes You Happy.
-The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner profession involves doing many of the same things a psychiatrist does, including diagnosing mental illness and prescribing medication. Instead of just treating the illness, time is spent treating the whole person by guiding clients to make smart health and lifestyle choices. From treating illness to coordination of care and advising clients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, NPs are fully qualified health care providers. Clients will be satisfied with the care they receive because NPs deliver a unique blend of nursing and medical care. By providing both high quality care and health counseling, NPs can lower the cost of health care for clients. For example, clients with NPs as their primary care providers have fewer instances of emergency room visits, shorter hospital stays, and often have lower medication costs. This can be attributed to the fact that NPs partner with clients for their health and provide essential information so clients know when early intervention is needed. Welcome to a new, creative, and integrative form of care. Hobbies include bike riding, dancing, gardening, and cooking to name a few. Happiness is when one can be of service to all mankind.
