Elisabeth Aiyeleso is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered, and individualized care. Patient, dependable, and deeply committed to helping others, Elisabeth strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and comfortable sharing their experiences without fear of judgment.

Elisabeth grew up in Nigeria, where family, community, respect, and caring for others were important parts of her upbringing. Moving to the United States in her youth introduced her to new cultures, perspectives, and opportunities while teaching her resilience, flexibility, perseverance, and the value of adapting to change. Growing up across two cultures also gave Elisabeth an appreciation for the many different experiences that shape a person's life and strengthened her ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Elisabeth earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Essex County College, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University and completed specialized training as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Her path toward mental health care was shaped by both professional and deeply personal experiences. As a nurse and care manager, Elisabeth worked with individuals whose underlying mental health concerns affected their physical health, relationships, daily functioning, and ability to remain engaged in their care. This experience gave her valuable insight into the barriers people may encounter when trying to access healthcare and mental health services and strengthened her commitment to advocating for individuals whose needs might otherwise go unmet.

Elisabeth's passion for mental health also became personal following the loss of a close friend to mental illness. That experience reinforced for her the importance of access to mental health support, early intervention, and having someone willing to truly listen. It strengthened her desire to become a clinician who could help people feel less alone while navigating difficult periods in their lives.

Elisabeth believes meaningful care begins with listening. She recognizes that every person's circumstances, experiences, and goals are different and takes time to understand what matters to each individual rather than making assumptions about what they need. She approaches clients with compassion and respect, seeking to understand not only their concerns but also the experiences and challenges that may exist beneath the surface.

What continues to motivate Elisabeth is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients and help them feel heard and understood. She believes that sometimes simply having someone take the time to listen can be an important first step toward receiving the support a person needs. Her goal is to provide a space where clients feel respected, supported, and comfortable working toward meaningful improvements in their well-being.

Outside of work, Elisabeth enjoys spending time with family and friends. Family remains especially important to her, and she values opportunities to relax, connect with the people she loves, and recharge.
