His clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive psychotherapy, psychodynamic principles, and exposure techniques. He believes that psychiatry is not simply a set of protocols—it’s a powerful, evolving field with the capacity to heal, especially as public understanding and stigma continue to shift.
He is committed to continuous growth as a clinician and makes it a priority to stay up to date on psychiatric research and therapeutic methods to better serve his clients.
Outside of his work, Dr. Legerme enjoys reading, writing, playing chess, and watching the Miami Heat. He also finds joy in exploring new video games and engaging in creative thinking through play and strategy.
